Mission

Scuba diving should be accessible to everyone. Yet, most dive masks are designed with the largest market in mind, leaving individuals with less common facial structures or vision correction needs struggling to find a good fit. For those who don’t fit the mold—literally—of traditional dive masks, discomfort, poor sealing, or subpar vision can turn diving into a frustrating and exclusionary experience.

At Nix Dive Mask, we recognize these gaps in the industry. Whether it’s a mask that doesn’t fit or corrective lenses that distort underwater vision, traditional solutions often fall short. Designing and manufacturing masks for the diversity of human faces and vision needs has been prohibitively expensive, relying on costly tooling and high production minimums that exclude those with unique requirements.

Our solution? Customization through 3D printing. By leveraging this transformative technology, we dramatically lower the cost of creating molds, making it feasible to craft dive masks that fit both your face and your vision needs perfectly. Each mask is designed with precision to ensure a watertight seal and clear, distortion-free underwater visibility, creating a comfortable and reliable diving experience for everyone.

And we’re not stopping there. With permission from our customers, we plan to use data from custom designs to develop a line of semi-customized, low-cost masks. These masks will be manufactured using traditional techniques, offering a better fit and improved optics for a broader range of people at a lower price point.

At Nix Dive Mask, we’re on a mission to make scuba diving more inclusive. By breaking down barriers to entry—whether they’re related to fit, comfort, or vision—we hope to empower everyone to experience the wonders of the underwater world, comfortably, confidently, and clearly.
